East Central Railway Recruitment 2016 – 50 Act Apprentice Posts:
East Central Railway has issued a notification for the recruitment of
50 Act Apprentice vacancies in various trades in the Mechanical
Workshop, East Central Railway, Samastipur. Eligible candidates can
apply in the prescribed application format on or before 20-10-2016 by
16.00 hrs. Other details like age limit, educational qualification,

Age Limit: Candidates
age should be between 15-24 years (i.e. the date of birth 01-09-1992 to
01-09-2001) for UR, 15-27 for OBC (i.e. the date of birth 01-09-1992 to
01-09-2001), 15-29 for SC/ ST candidates (i.e. the date of birth
01-09-1997 to 01-09-2001) as on 01-09-2016.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Matriculation, 10 th (10+2 system) or
equivalent recognized examination & must have passed ITI degree in
relevant trades.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on marks obtaining in Matriculation,
10 th (10+2 system) or equivalent recognized examination, ITI in
designated trades.
Application Fee:
Candidates should pay Rs. 40/- by crossed IPO payable to FA & CAO,
East Central Railway, Hajipur. No fee for SC/ ST candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible
candidates send their application in the prescribed format, two passport
size recent photograph duly signed by the candidates, xerox copies of
all relevant certificates as mentioned in the notification, two self
addressed envelopes (Size 11 “x5″) with stamp of Rs. 5/- on each
envelope & top of the envelope should be superscribed with
“Notification No.,Caste – UR or OBC or SC/ ST, ITI trade” should be
addressed to Workshop Personnel Officer, East Central Railway,
Mechanical Workshop, Samastipur, Distt. Samastipur (Bihar), PIN-848101
by ordinary post on or before 20-10-2016 by 16.00 hrs.
Last Date for Submission of Application: 20-10-2016 by 16.00 hrs.
